What are the events of Track and Field?

What are the Hurdles events?
The Hurdles add an extra layer of complexity to sprinting, requiring athletes to clear a series of hurdles strategically placed along the track. The Hurdles combine speed, agility, and precision where athletes navigate a series of obstacles placed at least 2.5 feet in height along the track.
100M HURDLES
The 100 meters hurdles for women and 110 meters hurdles for men challenge athletes to maintain their speed while clearing barriers with precision and nano seconds of timing. The Hurdles are a technical event, they require not only for you to be fast but also athletes must be agile to clear obstacles in the way, and to excel an athlete must get over all of them and at rapid pace.
400M Hurdles
The 400 meters hurdles, with longer distance and higher hurdles, demands endurance, technique and exceptional speed. An Athlete must clear each hurdle and maintain their speed and rhythm throughout this entire quarter mile race.
Relays
Relays bring the element of teamwork and coordination to Track and Field competitions. The main relay events are the 4×100 meters relay and the 4×400 meters relay. In relay events, teams of four athletes pass a baton to each other within designated exchange zones, aiming to complete the race as the fastest team against time. An athlete must have speed, precision and skill to attack the obstacles of the steeplechase and have the endurance to complete a long-distance race. Race Walking events, including the 20 kilometers and 50 kilometers racewalk, emphasize speed and technique while maintaining strict rules about keeping contact with the ground.
What are the Field Events?
Field events in Track and Field include Jumps and Throws, where athletes showcase their strength, power, precision and agility. The Field events normally occur on a grassy field. In most cases “The Field” is used to refer to the area in the middle of the track. Athletes must master the fundamentals of takeoff, flight, and landing to excel in the events of Jumping and strength and precision for competitions that fall under Throws.
Jumps
